The Mountaineer Lodge, open year round, is one of the best and most affordable places to stay in the Lake Louise area of Canada's Rocky Mountains. Within walking distance of the Lodge is Lake Louise’s Samson Mall for shopping and dining. The world famous Lake Louise is a 5 minute drive or you can enjoy the beautiful scenery walking or biking to the Lake. World class Lake Louise Ski Resort is also a 5 minute drive for skiing in the winter and gondola sightseeing in the summer.
